Where to Sow

Sow directly where to grow in a sunny, sheltered, well drained site after all danger of frost has passed. Transplanting is not recommended. Only those with steady, experienced green fingers should proceed.

How

Cover seeds with soil to a depth of 3cm. Space seeds 15cm apart.

Care

Keep seedbed evenly moist during germination period. Germination period is between 7-10 days. The soil temperature must be warm at all times.

General

Adequate trellis or fencing is required for this variety. Sow regularly throughout the season for a continuous supply. A pod is ready for harvesting if it snaps crisply when bent. Regular picking increases productivity. This is an annual variety i.e. you need to sow every year. Can be sown/grown in a green house.
