For New Lawns 

 

Prepare:

Remove any weeds or debris from soil. Make sure the surface is level to ensure no hollows, and firm.

Rake surface soil lightly to loosen.

 

Sow:

Apply seed at a rate of 25g per square metre. Divide the seed in 2 portions and use one half to sow one direction and the second half the other. This will assist in even distribution of seed. Once spread, lightly rake seed into top 1cm of soil.

 

Water:

Gently water area upon sowing. Watering cans or sprinklers are ideal. Keep soil moist until germination.

 

Lawn Maintenance

 

Prepare:

Remove dead grass by raking the worn area vigorously in a criss-cross motion. Apply approximately 1cm of soil or compost and rake lightly into surface area.

 

Sow:

Scatter seed evenly over affected area. Once spread, lightly rake seed into top 1cm of soil.

 

Water:

Gently water area upon sowing. Watering cans or sprinklers are ideal. Keep soil moist until germination.
