Planting Instruction
  • How to Sow: Choose a well-drained site in full sun. Sow into trays for subsequent transplanting after frosts have ended. Can be sown direct in the garden if there is no danger of frost. Sow seed thinly, 4-5 cm apart to a depth of 3 mm and cover with fine soil. Keep seedbed evenly moist during germination.
  • Seedling Care: Germination should take 2-3 weeks. Transplant seedlings 40 cm apart, 10 weeks after sow date.
  • Hints & Tips: Regular deadheading of spent flowers prevents disease and greatly extends the flowering period. Plants prefer full sun but will tolerate part shade. Cut back in spring.
