Planting Instruction

How to Prepare: Soak seeds overnight by spreading them between layers of a wet paper towel. Seal in a plastic bag with plenty of air space. Refrigerate for 2 weeks. Keep moist.
Where to sow: Sow anytime indoors. Best sown into a tray of quality seed raising mix.
How to Sow: Cover with a fine soil mix to a depth of 5 mm. Care: Cover with clear plastic to conserve moisture. Remove plastic often to allow ventilation. Keep moist throughout the germination period. As seedlings grow provide increasing quantities of light and fresh air.
Where to Grow: Suitable for colder climates, Carex enjoys full sun but tolertates part shade and thrives in moist well-drained soils. Suitable for banks, rock gardens, near ponds and streams, and in containers
Hints and Tips: Carex requires very little care. Deer resistant, salt and drought tolerant.
