Form a shallow trench/grove approximately 1cm deep and lay the tape in it. These sees are already spaced 1-1.25cm apart and attached to the tape. Cover with soil to a depth of 1cm and water well

Pick a spot that's sheltered well drained site in full sun. Thin, once carrots are large enough to handle, to 5cm apart. Seed tape can easily be cut with scissors to suit any sized container or requirement.
