Planting Instruction

How To Sow: Choose a sheltered, well drained site in full sun. Sow direct where to grow in a warm, well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 15-20cm apart, in rows 60cm apart and to a depth 3cm. Optimal germination is achieved when soil temperature is about 20°C
Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply fruit fertilizer two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; check our website for appropriate plant health and pest control products.
Hints & Tips: This variety is a productive climber and will need staking. Beans are best picked young and often to prolong the cropping period. Sow every 4 weeks in spring to extend your bean season
