Planting Instruction

How to Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow direct where to grow in a warm, well prepared seedbed. Form a shallow trench / groove approximately 1cm deep and lay tape in it. These seeds are already spaced and attached to the tape. Cover with soil to a depth of 1cm and water well.
Care for seedling: Keep seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply McGregor�s FruitMax 2 weeks after germination for healthier plants and a maximum crop. Protect your vege garden from snails and slugs with McGregor�s Snail and Slug Bait and from White Butter?y with McGregor�s Derris Dust.
Hints & Tips: For winter crops always sow early enough in late summer-autumn to allow good plant establishment before the cold sets in. Thin carrots via harvesting 'baby carrots'. Best to thin your plants by selectively harvesting crowded plants. Firstly to 2cm apart, then later thin to 5cm apart. Allow plenty of space between rows for good air circulation.
