Planting Instruction

How to sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds in groups 5 cm apart, in rows 50 cm apart and to a depth of 2 mm. Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum blooms. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products. Hints and Tips: Picking a few early green ones, even if you prefer them red, is a good idea as it encourages further fruit production. Our seeds are not treated with Neonicotinoids.
