  • How To Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds thinly, 2 cm apart, in rows 30 cm apart and cover to a depth of 1 cm. Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply vegetable fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products. Hints and Tips: Thin carrots as you harvest. Firstly to 2 cm apart, then 2-3 weeks later thin to 5 cm apart. Our seeds are not treated with Neonicitinoids
