Planting Instruction
  • How To Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frosts, sow direct where to grow in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 15cm apart and to a depth of 1cm. Later transplant to 50cm apart.
  • Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply McGregor's FruitMax 2 weeks after germination for healthier plans and a maximum crop. Protect your vege garden from snails and slugs with McGregor's Snail and Slug bait and from White Butterfly with McGregor's Derris Dust.
  • Hints and Tips: To save spacem plus to keep the fruit clean and straight allow to grow over a trellis or similar support. Burpless Cucumbers have become very popular because they tend not to cause indigestion, stomach pains or heartburn. This variety also does well in greenhouse.
