How To Sow: Choose warm, well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays or pots for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow direct where to grow in a well prepared seedbed. Sprinkle seeds 2cm apart and to a depth of 5mm. Later, transplant to 25cm apart.
Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply McGregor's FruitMax 2 weeks after germination for healthier plans and a maximum crop. Protect yourherb garden from snails and slugs with McGregor's Snail and Slug bait and from White Butterfly with McGregor's Derris Dust.
Hints and Tips: Cut leaves any time for fresh use. For drying, pick leaves as flowers begin to open. Basil must have warm growing conditions.
