Planting Instruction

How To Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 2 cm apart and to a depth of 5 mm.
Seedling Care: Keep seedbed or trays evenly moist during the germination period of 4-10 days. Apply vegetable fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products.
Hints & Tips: With its succulent white stem and dark green leaves, this variety can be harvested at various stages of development. Plants can grow to 50 cm tall.
