Planting Instruction

How to Sow: Best to sow these seeds in trays for subsequent planting or, after frosts sow directly in a well prepared seed bed or container. Sow seeds 2 mm apart, in rows 30 cm apart, to depth of 5 mm
Seedling Care: Keep seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 14-21 days. Apply fruit fertiliser 2 weeks after germination for healthier plants and a maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products.
Hints and Tips: Sow at least 10 weeks before the last frost date and keep indoors. Don't transplant seedlings until outside temperatures re constantly above 10 °C.
