Planting Instruction

How to Sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or, after frosts, sow directly in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 15 cm apart, in rows 75 cm apart and to a depth of 3 cm.
Seedling Care: Keep trays or seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 7-14 days. Apply fruit fertiliser two weeks after germination for healthier plants and maximum crop. Protect your seedlings from slugs, snails and insect pests; go to mcgregors.co.nz for appropriate plant health and pest control products.
Hints & Tips: This hybrid variety is renowned for its disease resistance, as well as its sweetness and tenderness. For successful wind pollination, plant in a block pattern.
CAUTION: Seed is fungicide treated to minimise fungal attack during seed germination and as a regulatory requirement. Do not eat seed or feed to animals.
