Planting Instruction
  • How to sow: Choose a well drained site in full sun. Sow these seeds in trays for subsequent transplanting or after frosts, sow direct where to grow in a well prepared seedbed. Sow seeds 1cm apart and to a depth of 2cm.
  • Seedling Care: Keep trays or seedbed evenly moist during the germination period of 21-28 days. Apply McGregor's VegeMax 2 weeks after germination for healthier plants and a maximum crop. Protect your herb garden from snails and slugs with McGregor's Snail and Slug bait and from White Butterfly with McGregor's Derris Dust
  • Hints and Tips: Prune hard in early Spring to prevent the plant from getting too woody. Thyme can be used as ground cover, happily growing in the cracks between pavers and rocks.
  • Our seeds are not treated with Neonicitinoids
